At MatchMBA, we came together to create a site that impacted and changed the landscape of finding the right MBA program. So many ranking systems guess what students want and need from an MBA program. We took the guessing out of it. We include every metric, fact, and possibility that could impact your choice. We feel so good about our system that you can go in and change the filters to find the school YOU want to go to. Not us.

Ryan Mullins

Who he is

Ryan Mullins is an Assistant Professor of Marketing at Clemson University. His diverse academic background is comprised of a PhD in Marketing at the University of Houston, an MBA with Marketing specialization at Texas A&M University, and a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering from Texas A&M University. Ryan’s research work focuses on improving organizational performance through leadership, customer relationship management, and internal branding.


Where he is from

Previous to his academic appointment, Ryan has accumulated experience across functional areas in engineering, sales management, front-line employee training, and consulting. His early technical background was key to getting involved in technical selling and marketing fields.


Why it matters

From his perspective, an MBA was integral for Ryan to catalyze a change in his own career trajectory. Ryan has a heartfelt desire to help others do the same by finding the right MBA to help them prepare, transition, and achieve their next career objective. With his background in organizational research and survey design, he plans to help future MBA students benefit as much as possible from the insights gained at MatchMBA.

Zachary Hall

Who he is

Zachary Hall is an Assistant Professor of Marketing. He holds a PhD in Marketing from the University of Houston, a MS in Finance and MBA from Texas Tech University and BBA in Marketing with honors from Texas A&M University–Corpus Christi. Zach’s research examines factors how to improve performance and decision-making of managers, employees, and customers. He has research has been published at the Journal of Marketing.

Before entering academia, Zach accumulated almost 10 years of experience in sales, financial analysis, pricing analysis, and consulting. Through this diverse professional background, one common theme became apparent to Zach; he has a strong passion to help others succeed. This is what brought Zach to MatchMBA. Zach has seen many friends, colleagues, and students make ill-advised decisions of where to pursue their MBAs. Through his expertise in survey design and analysis, he aims to help all MatchMBA users find the MBA that matchers their needs and goals.

Eric Mullins

Who he is

Eric Mullins is a web marketing professional in Houston Texas. He has experience working in Fortune 50 companies leading the web marketing experience and for web startups. Eric has professional experience in online and traditional higher education, telecom, Enterprise business & Lifestyle. Eric graduated from Texas A&M University in 2008. Eric is focused on maintaining the MatchMBA website and giving users a great experience.


Where he is from

Eric grew up in the Houston area and moved back after college. Eric focused his efforts in growing an online education startup working with online colleges. He left in 2013 to focus on lifestyle and childcare. In 2016, Eric came on board to launch MatchMBA while focusing on a growing family.


Why it matters

Eric believes an MBA assists students in growing their career and obtaining higher levels of success. With a background working in the education industry, Eric wants to create a site that actually helps students find the right school. With his background in web marketing and website UX, he plans to help former and future MBA students learn more about the perfect MBA program.
